The Adventures of Titch and Mitch, Shipwrecked!, written by Garth Edwards
These are great little books! Beautifully produced, with cheerful attractive covers and ideal for children around the five to six age group, each book contains a different collection of adventures that happen to two mischievous young pixies named Titch and Mitch. The value of these books lies in their gentle humour and the way that the pixies' friends grow in number as the stories unfold so that by the end the child will have got to know and love lots of new characters. The illustrations merit a special mention - they are quite delightful and a brilliant aid to firing the imagination.
Great additions to any child's library.

The Adventures of Titch and Mitch, Shipwrecked!, written by Garth Edwards
Shipwrecked! (The Adventures of Titch & Mitch) is a lovely debut collection of stories written by Garth Edwards. The tone of this book is reminiscent of Enid Blyton's 'Magic Faraway Tree' series with many magical and unusual occurrences; the story about a talking yellow seagull called Budgie was my personal favourite! This book is perfect for children who are aged 6 to 8 and who are ready for something to capture their interest and imagination before moving onto longer chapter books. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series and adding them to my library stock!
